Dr. Myerowitz is a
Doctor of Chiropractic and a Licensed Acupuncturist practicing in the State of Maine for the past 40 years.
** He has taught over 2000 seminars in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine, Practice building and philosophy.
**He has written seven books on practice management, success principles and the practice of Chiropractic Acupuncture in
the field of Oriental Medicine.
**He is an extremely sought after teacher and is well known for his ability to
teach in an easy to learn and fun nature.
**He is a past Post Graduate Faculty member in Acupuncture for Parker
College of Chiropractic, and is currently on staff in the Post Graduate Department of Logan College of Chiropractic in
Acupuncture.
**He is president of the International Academy of Chiropractic Acupuncture and is the president
of the Acupuncture Society of New England.
**He is also the past vice president of the Maine Association of Acupuncture
and Oriental Medicine and is the past president of the Executive Board of the American Chiropractic Associations
Council of Chiropractic Acupuncture.
** He is currently a board member of the American Association of Integrative
Medicine and a board member of the Maine Association of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine.
Dr. Myerowitz is Nationally
Board Certified in Acupuncture by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM) and
is a Licensed Acupuncturist in the State of Maine.
Dr. Myerowitz has taught on the Parker program for over 20 years
and has been awarded Team Teacher of the Year, Chiropractor of the Year, Parker Consultant of the Year, Parker Master Member
award, Parker Grand Master award, Parker Centurion award and the prestigious Parker Associate Lecturer award (PAL) personally
by Dr. James W. Parker.
He has also taught for many State Associations on the subject of Acupuncture and Oriental
Medicine and is well known and respected in the field as an authority, teacher and practitioner.
He has also served
on the Board of directors and as Chairman of the Peer Review Commitee in Maine for over 10 years.
Dr. Myerowitz
was awarded an F.I.C.C. (Fellow, International College of Chiropractors).
Dr. Myerowitz has taught Acupuncture
for over 30 years and continues to teach and practice on a regular basis.
Dr. Myerowitz is presently teaching classes at Logan Post Grad, Iowa Chiropractic Society and IACA in Holden, Maine.

A Maine Native, Dr. Zev J. Myerowitz Jr. graduated Summa Cum Laude with a B.S. in Human Anatomy from Cleveland Chiropractic
College in Los Angeles, CA. He then simultaneously graduated Summa Cum Laude from New York Chiropractic College (NYCC) with
a Doctorate, as well as from the Finger Lakes School of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (FLSAOM) with a Masters degree.
He is certified in Active Release Technique (ART), the most effective soft tissue injury technique available. Dr. Zev also
holds a post-graduate certification in Sports Science and Human Performance, NYCC's athletic specialty certification, and
has worked with hundreds of athletes successfully. His clinical experience is international, having completed an internship
at the Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine in Hangzhou, China. He was the first intern at FLSAOM ever admitted into the
prestigious internship at the Columbia Pediatric Oncology ward in New York, NY.
Dr. Zev J. Myerowitz Jr. is the only licensed chiropractor and fully and distinctly licensed acupuncturist in Southern
Maine. Consequently his father, Dr. Zev J. Myerowitz Sr. represents the only other Maine practitioner with this distinction
and practices upstate in Holden along with Dr.'s Ben and Daniel Myerowitz. By holding the highest clinical education in two
extremely different yet synergistic health care disciplines, Dr. Zev employs a much broader skill set to quickly and effectively
get you well.
Dr. Zev is passionate about living life to the fullest. He is
an accomplished Ironman triathlete and currently competes throughout New England. He can often be spotted riding and running
throughout Cape Elizabeth in the mornings and on the weekends. Dr. Zev is continuously furthering his education and is up
to date and the newest and most effective techniques in both of his health care disciplines. He teaches alongside Dr. Zev
Myerowitz Sr. at the International Academy of Chiropractic Acupuncture.
